Why are people against Nation Health Insurance plans? Do you want me to die?
Filed Under Health Insurance Plans | 10 Comments
I have health insurance, for now. The insurance company has been sending me information to encourage me to drop out or at least stop insurance on my heart condition. Next year premiums will increase another thousand a year as they have for the last two years if they follow their current pattern. In ten years I won’t be on this plan. Either I will get lucky and find a company that is willing to put someone like me on their health insurance plan or I won’t have health insurance. I don’t know what to do but to hope something changes. A national health insurance plan would solve my problem, but I know that a bunch of selfish bastards don’t want that to happen.

Know about any good health insurance plans in india?
Filed Under Health Insurance Plans | 2 Comments
I’m a resident of Hyderabad, India. I want to take a medical insurance plan for my mom. Her age is 54 years. I spoke to icici about this. They said it can be done online itself without the need for my mom to undergo any health checkup. They said they won’t be covering any past diseases till the next 4 years of membership. And there are many items(diseases) which are under the exclusion list of coverage. Any help on which insurance would be better, advantages and drawbacks, in this regard will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

What is the difference between the different health insurance plans, such as Indemnity, PPO, Personal Comp?

I’m trying to figure out the best plan for my 14 year old and there are so many to choose from that it’s becoming overwhelming. What are major differences between Indemnity, PPO, Personal Comp and HMO. Also, there are HSA accounts, but it looks like you have to be 18 to take advantage of this??

How come part-time employees don’t qualify for employer’s group health insurance plans?

So they have to pay higher rates under individual plans, even though they make less, cause they’re only part time. Is it any wonder why so many Americans do not have health insurance?
