What are some good, low cost family health insurance plans for us?
Filed Under Health Insurance Plans | 3 Comments
My husband and I need health insurance. He is a full time student and I am full time worker. We cannot get decent health insurance through his school or my work. We are looking for a low deductable, 0% coinsurance, and we need something with great maternity coverage, since we’re planning on starting a family soon. If you know of any great plans like this, please share! Thank you for your help!

Does it seem logical that health insurance plans require special wording and documentation or they will not pa

A facility that cannot afford special insurance coders to fill out insurance billing but provides high quality care (because its funds are used on patients) will experience high volume of rejection of payments, compared to a facility that hires special insurance coders and provides less high quality care, which gets paid most often because the paper work was filled out in a special way.
In other words, for the same procedure not all facilities are paid, what determines payment is paper work and technicalities and not the quality of care provided.

My girlfriend just graduated from college, but she is covered under student health insurance until August of 2007. She just got a job, which gives her free health insurance from Aetna, which means for about 7 months she’s going to have two health insurance plans. My question is, is there a way to have it so that one insurance company pays their responsibility, say, the 80% of the medical bill, and then the other company pays the 20% that would be your copayment, so that you end up paying nothing between the two of them? If not, then what is the benefit of having two insurance plans, if there is one.
Thanks

What health Insurance plans cover pre-existing conditions?

I have an existing kidney condition, and am currently covered under my previous employers cobra. Since I am not yet working, and the cobra expires soon, i need an individual plan. BCBS will extend their plan for individual coverage, but at a fairly hight rate. So I was trying to find other options for individual plans that would cover my condition?
